A lot of that stuff was honestly based on trust back at the pokemon forum thingymajigur- I'm pretty sure if everybody stays within reason it can be worked out just fine. c: And also a lot of people tended to play out the enemies attacks as well as their own, and it was a small community of people like it is here so it was pretty easy to monitor everything~ c:

Yes, you are right, wan XD But then, will all the characters start in level 1 like in M&L and those kinds of games, wan? Or will some characters be automatically in a higher level?
... and I still have no idea how are we going to figure out the number of attack/defense//HP points, wan XDDD

Well, for your own OC's that sort of stuff is up to you, but pretty much all of the canon characters aside from a few have been in RPG's, so a lot of their stats could be based off of those. c:
Again most of that stuff is based on trust, generally you just put what seems like a good range of stats depending on their strengths, weaknesses, stature, and so fourth- then cookeh or toasty can go n' check it for ye~ KD

That sounds fair- as Eva said. I'll put up a demo stat profile for like...Mimi for example purposes.

By the way, should we maybe have characters learn different specials as they level up? Like the have normal attacks and special attacks which have their own cost and effects? And gain more with every 3 or 5 levels?

Well, I think that's a good idea, but maybe not have them that frequent. Like- perhaps every 10 or 15 levels instead. Seeing as how in most of the Mario RPG's you only learn around 7-12 special attacks for a single character, but I do like that sort of idea. c:

Well I'm trying to consider that, due to all the differences in time for our members, we might not be able to get to some of the higher levels.^^;

True, then maybe instead of through levels it could be through items? c: Like how in BiS the brothers collected puzzle pieces to learn new moves, or in TTYD you'd find Shine Sprites to level partners and give them new moves, badges to give to mario for the same effect, or crystal stars to get more elite moves~

That sounds like the best solution. Maybe like having a technique level system or something which certain items level up.

Yessir!~ It'd be easier if I had a USB Keyboard but...I don't. So I have to use the Wii's little keyboard on the screen with the remote.

:I I approve on whatever's going on. So, we'll add stats now to our existing profiles? I sorta skimmed over the new posts. I'm dog tired.
