Name: Mimi Anne
Age: 14
Gender: Female of course.~
Species: Human
Birthdate: October 10th
Birthplace: Glitzville
Blood Type: O
Height: 4’10 ¾”
Weight: 98 lbs
Appearance: Mimi has red-orange hair just past her chin. She has brown eyes. She's hardly ever seen without her trademark Mario-inspired pink hat and gloves, along with a yellow t-shirt (an old one of A.J.'s) and rolled up pants along with green sneakers.
Hobbies: She loves doodling on anything she can get her hands on or into. This includes tissues, napkins, dirt, walls, and tables. She's sort of a tagger. She also loves to dance, and does so often when nobody's watching, which could make for some pretty entertaining scenes.
Likes: Sugary beverages, anyone who's willing to speak to her, thoughts of heroism.
Dislikes: Mean people, anyone who opposes or threatens the Mario Brothers, her height, sour flavors.
Theme Song: Love Shine www.youtube.com/watch?v=zzN-nqXJTS8
Image Colors: Fuchsia2(Hex3) #FF00AA, Cadmiumlemon #FFE303
Symbol: Basically her pink hat, it's the most recognizable object on her, very similar to Mario's trademark cap.
Weapons: Her weapons include her magical hat and gloves. The gloves have special metal enzymes built into the fibers, and they allow the wearer to lift objects much heavier then themselves. Her hat also allows her the ability of flight and the protection from harmful blazes due to ice or fire. That is of course, when the clothes actually work.
Strengths: Mimi herself is not powerful, she's quite average in the sense of the normal teenage girl, but her clothes allow her to pull off similar acrobatics to Mario's, when they choose to work for her. The clothes are quite sporadic however, and these moments of empowerment seem to only work a few times.
Weaknesses: The clothes don't always react when she wants them to, as they work based on her inner spirit rather than her direct thoughts at the moment. She's also quite small and can easily be crushed or lifted and thrown.
Personality: Mimi is rather crude and childish, often annoying people. She can also be very bright and inquisitive, and is very curious about people, places, and things. She loves enriching herself through experience, and thinks the more adventuring she does, the better prepared for heroism she'll be. She tries her best at everything she does, but often becomes easily distracted or put-out if it doesn't go quite her way. Still, she's pretty optimistic on a daily basis and longs to make her dream of heroism come true.
She's pretty insecure about her height, and tries to make up for her lack of intimidating appearance with her personality, but merely comes off as immature instead.
History: Mimi was born in Glitzville- literally born RIGHT THERE. Her mother was in the stands, cheering for her favorite fighters and the excitement must have induced labor, for little Mimi was born right then and there. Totally crazy!
Perhaps a little backtracking, 9 months earlier would be nice! Both of Mimi’s parents had a fascination with the Glitz Pit- Mimi’s dad so much so, that he actually worked there. Not as a fighter. Nor as a guard. But as a janitor. Well someone has to do it, right? There’s a lot of popcorn that gets thrown around in those stands! Mimi’s mother began coming to shows, the fights always held her interests and that was when she saw Nick (Mimi’s father)- sweeping around the pit and she somehow just KNEW she wanted to get to know him more. After all, he saw BEHIND the scenes- behind the fighting, the real nitty gritty of it all! Nick and Courtney (Mimi’s mother) began talking it up and found they had a lot of similar interests, so every time Courtney came to the Pit, she found herself talking more to Nick and focusing less on the fights. They soon fell in love, and to save time from coming back and forth to Glitzville from the mainland, Courtney got a job at the juice bar as a waitress.
After a few months, they were inseparable and decided to get married. And soon Baby!Mimi arrived. The fighting was what Glitzville was KNOWN for obviously, so Mimi’s parents weren’t exactly okay with bringing up a BABY in such an environment. So they decided to let her stay with A.J.’s aunt, who’d actually been an older woman and didn’t have any children of her own to watch over. Just until she was old enough to understand what Glitzville WAS. That was of course, how she met A.J. eventually- and soon came to watch the Great Gonzales in action.
She became entranced with his unique fighting style. Later on, she found out his real name was Mario, and he had done much more than fought under an assumed name. He also saved princesses on a regular basis, and fought against countless villains. She was amazed, and decided she wanted to make her mark in the world as a hero.
Since her decision, her friend Professor E. Gadd had constructed special clothes for her to help make her dream a reality. She found out that the clothes act on her inner being rather than her consious so she doesn't have the ability to make them work on her terms at any given moments, which also prevents the clothes falling into the wrong hands to be used for evil intentions.
She follows the Mario Brothers where ever they go to either see them in action or try to assist them in some way, but where ever they are, you better believe she's in the background scoping them out.
Heroic Title: The Hat O' Pink, Pinky, The Pink Wonder
Affiliations: She would love to affiliate herself with her hero and idol, Mario, but in reality the two have never spent a great deal of time together. She has assisted him, in the small ways that Mimi CAN assist, but she and him have not interacted.
Motivations: Mimi loves to be kind, and maybe she's a bit TOO kind at times, to people who might be undeserving or treat her poorly, but she seems to accept herself as coming off as overly annoying. Mario is her liege, her goal, and it would mean the world to her if she could be as widely recognized as him. She often mistakes glory for true heroism, which is self sacrifice regardless of receiving any attention.
Partners: A.J. Koopa from Koopa Village, Gabriella Goomba from Grass Lands, Steve the Shyguy from Shady Village and Petey Piranha whom they found within Iggy Koopa's laboratory often accompany her.
Battle Stats:
Name: Mimi
HP: 10
FP: 5
EXP: 10
EXP gained when defeated: 5 pts.
Special Attacks: One Hit Wonder: 50/50 chance of her glove activating and hitting an enemy dead on. The chances will fluxuate depending on the combination of Mimi's mood and stamina.
Flight Risk: Mimi's hat has a 50/50 chance of activating and allowing her to fly and 'flee' a fight. Again, the chances will fluxuate accordingly.
These will still cost FP regardless if it's a 'Miss.'
