I've recently gotten hooked to Mimsie's characters as a pairing, AJ and Mimi. And she had this comment, and it had a scene, and it looked too cute. I would've drawn it, but my drawing skills aren't up to par. So I wrote it.
.........
It's not really FINISHED persay, but. Well, I suppose I can make a good ending when I get the chance. I'm not very sure.
Well, here it is:
-----------------------------
A little girl in a large-sized pink hat was flying -- metaphorically -- across the city with wild speed, attempting to catch something. She wore a big yellow shirt, some shorts, and oddly colored lime green sneakers.
The small, green shoes were step-step-stepping on the gravel below her which everyone called the ground. Well, the stepping was more like running, and the green shoes were moving pretty darn fast. The little feet moved faster, suddenly, having almost tripped over a rock from the speed.
The owner of these oddly colored sneakers and the rest of the bad-color-coordinated clothes was none other than Mimi Anne. Her usually cheerful, happy, and silly expression was replaced by one of grim worry. She clutched her hat, trying to pick up speed, wincing quietly from the pain in her toe. She stubbed it tripping on that rock! She turned a corner of a building, running past Toads, people of all sorts. Everyone gave her odd looks, but Mimi didn't care, now did she?
She finally reached the docks. Bowser's airships had to be flying off today -- it was scheduled to take place at about 9:00am. Her brown, almost faded eyes turned to glance at the huge clock in the city.
9:30?!
She may have been clumsy, but time could not have moved so quickly that it had taken her an entire half hour to reach the docks! She winced in emotional pain... this couldn't have happened, not at all! She looked around wildly now, shoving past Koopa guards in a hurry.
Wait a minute...
Where were the airships, anyways?
She watched in (again...) horror as the last of the Koopa guards retreated to their airship -- the last one -- and the hull closed. She ran over to the end of the dock -- almost falling off -- and tried to wave to open it back up, but her efforts to catch the attention of the captain or any of the recruits were ignored. The airship, with a long horn and an almost dramatic-seeming exit, lifted into the skies. Mimi clutched her hat, and in a choked sob, muttered,
"AJ, I-I didn't even get to s-say bye.."
She broke into tears, crumbling to her knees. AJ was her bestest, BESTEST friend! How could she have not known? She would've come back earlier, and if she hadn't slept in, she probably would've made it in time to see him again! And THEN she could say bye, waving her hat happily!
The thought that he had already left one of the earlier airships had even crossed her mind -- therefore, she had to have been even earlier.
After shakily standing to her feet, she wiped her moist eyes and face with the back of her glove, and solemnly took her hat off. With a sniff and another whimper, she began her trek back home. What was a life like without AJ? she thought miserably. They were totally best buds, and they did everything together! Although AJ wasn't really on agreeing terms with most of the ideas she had, he was usually forced to comply.
She could only tremble at the thought. AJ was gone. She took few, small steps -- what was the point of going home now, she wondered...
Mimi stopped as a salty wind blew across the docks, and the rest of the city. It was a pier-based city, so airships and ships on water alike left the city and came back. She looked up at the sky, then forward. But as she looked forward, she gasped.
AJ stood, in his red-hatted, Koopa glory. He had what seemed like an understanding expression on his face -- possibly knowing Mimi's intentions. He smiled at her.
Mimi's heart pounded into her chest. She could feel it. All melancholy thoughts about AJ being gone -- well, obviously... -- simply left and she felt happiness flutter around her. She literally seemed like a brighter person. She ran, and ran, and jumped into AJ's arms.
In what seemed like a cliche fashion, he spun her around and embraced her back.
Mimi clutched tighter. "D-DON'T leave! Ever! EVER!" she squeaked, tears of joy now falling down her cheeks.
"I won't," the reply was so simple, but it gave Mimi enough to know that he wasn't leaving.
Ever again.

... AND BEFORE YOU KNOW IT YOU HEAR WEDDING BELLS
So yeah. I haven't read up properly on AJ and Mimi, but yeah. <XD I tried.
