Name: Nar. C
Title: The 8th Star Spirit, The Fallen Star, Stirrer of Selfishness
Affiliation: Nar C. used to be a renowned Star Spirit, dwelling in Star Haven and granting the wishes of the mortals below. She was cast out however, when she began to grant selfish wishes, and they consumed her, causing her to become corrupted and attempt to assume complete control of Star Haven. Now she travels the world below alone, seeking to reach out to selfish wishers in return for their wishes granting her powers back.
Alignment: Nar C. started out as most Star children do, innocent, curious, and wanting nothing more than to grant wishes. She didn’t understand why it was a bad thing to grant wishes of selfishness, especially if they started out small. While the wishes themselves might not seem so terrible, as each wish is granted and builds up within a star, the traits from the wishes alter the Star’s personality and looks, which explains why all Star Children look the same at first and then change after. Nar C. granted so many wishes of selfishness that she took on the corrupted traits, and grew hungrier for power, to want to consume everything until it was hers. This is a reflection of man-kind in a sense, as she represents why selfishness should never be tolerated.
Home: Star Haven until she was kicked out. She now wanders throughout many kingdoms in search for strong, selfish people to latch onto.
Duties: As a Star Spirit she was responsible for granting the wishes of the good people below, to satisfy them and make them happy. She’s become corrupted in her thinking now though, and believes that’s what she’s doing when she grants the selfish wishes, and claims if the wisher regrets what they’ve wished after, it’s not she at fault, as it was their original desire.
Powers: She can grant wishes, naturally. There is a catch 22 however. The wishes that empower her must start small and gradually grow, but they all must come from the same person. That is to say, she cannot gain any power if she receives singular or few wishes from a group of people. She’s almost parasitic in a sense, and must latch onto the corrupt greediness of one person, to suck off of their thoughts and actions so that she too may grow on them.
Personality: Nar C. is extremely polite, despite her rather nasty insides. Depending upon what she thinks she can gain, she’ll act accordingly. For someone who seems troubled, she’ll act sympathetic to get them to confide in her. For someone who’s angry, she’ll feed their fuel. For someone who’s lonely, she’ll act like she wants nothing more than to be their friend. It’s all a game however, as her true personality always comes out in the end, due of course to the many selfish wishes that have accumulated inside of her. After she thinks she’s tricked someone into allowing her to become closer to her goals of power, she’ll become vicious, and sometimes her entire appearance will change depending on the nature of the wishes.
History: Nar C. was born as a Star Child in Starborn Valley under the care of Merle, as all were until they grow strong enough to make the journey to Star Haven to learn how to become good Star Spirits one day. Many star children turn into Luma though and become planets or Power Stars.
Nar C. trained under the gentle guidance of Eldstar until she was saw fit enough to join as the 8th honorable Star Spirit, although her inclusion was short lived, as she began hearing the thoughts of the selfish down below. When told to ignore those thoughts, she didn’t comprehend why and saw no harm in granting them. She quickly became corrupted though, and because of the wishes accumulating inside of her, she began to become selfish as well and tried to take over Star Haven. She was cast down as a Fallen Star by the other Spirits. She has no desire to try to rule the mortal world, instead opting for the return of her powers so that she may exact revenge on the beings above.
Her original name was stripped from her when she fell from Star Haven and the Spirits granted her a new title- Nar C.
It should be noted though that her original name was Maystar.
