Every time she took a step, some random twig seemed to make an eerie crack under her foot. And she cringed every time. Toadette got an invitation to a dinner at a random mansion. And the sender was anonymous. She knew so much better than to trust an anonymous sender with people like Bowser on the loose, but mushrooms were getting boring and she wanted something a lot more exquisite. At least... that's what the invitation said. Exquisite dining, hosted by 'yours truly.' (But the sender was anonymous... that didn't strike her as suspicious either--how dense was this girl?)
The pink Toad girl trekked on and on through Boo Woods--which was beginning to creep her out, she wished Mario or Toad or even the Princess were there to accompany her--and, with the help of that map, finally reached the mansion. It looked even creepier than any other house. Only two windows were lit out of the 18 that were on the front of it (Toadette counted; she did it to get her mind off of the creepy feeling) and the door was actually slightly ajar. She found this a bit exciting, and she opened the gate and ran up the stairs to investigate. Little did she know she was in for the scariest night of her life.
...Meanwhile, a ghostly baby floated about his room, envelopes and tape and stamps all across the floor and walls. He was satisfied with what he had done. He didn't know how to write his name for the yours truly, so he crossed out wherever it said 'King Boo' on the invitations that the King had sent when he ambushed Mario and Luigi, and sent them everywhere he could. Given, he could actually read and talk, but not write. Curse his tiny hands! He heard the door in the lobby make a crrreeeeaaaaking noise and flinched. A guest? Oh great, he wasn't even prepared yet... he dashed out of his room and slowly jarred the hallway door to find a Toad entering. Ugh, those stupid Toads were so easy to scare. She'd have to wait for the "dinner."
((Uhh, forgive me if there's any mistakes. I am not so good at intros. ^^"))

((Luigi shall make his leave when Mario takes off to the mansion- but for now, you get some red head shenanigans :V))
Evalyn crept through the dark wood, wringing her hands one over the other. She didn't have any intentions of coming out here- but Bowser didn't seem to want to bother himself with such an event when he had much more important business to take care of, planning more ways to capture his beloved and all that. So being stuck with the duty of returning the invite, she tried to stay somewhat upbeat about it. How could she though when every twig she passed by just HAD to get stuck in her hair?? One in particular snagged hard just underneath her hairband. As she took a step forward she fell back on her shorts, right into what had to be one of the worst spots to land- a thorn bush.
She squealed leaping up into the air, only to get jerked back AGAIN by that Grambiforsaken branch! "Is anybody there?? Can somebody get me down!? >_____<;;" She squealed, now bouncing around just above that heinous bush.

(X3 Yay! We started! I was at play practice! :3)
His Incorporalness was in his Royal Chamber, holding something in his nubs. He shook them lightly as he floated. He was trying to hide how utterly overjoyed he was that his newest plot was finally taking shape. So many people to scare! He could feel his powers growing as his loyal Boo followers were flocking near and far to participate in tonight antics. But tonight wasn't just a night of good old fashion sheiks and hollers, tonight was a night of...revenge.
Just the thought of it sent shocks of joy through him. It made up for earlier. He created a mansion much to his tastes, but his Royal Adviser suggested he tone down the creative genius just a bit. That did miff the King abit, but at least his royal quarters could be to his liking.
Two empty frames stood to the back of him, the only thing lighting the room was torches with unnatural blue fire that gave off no heat and added very little light to the room.
"Tonight,Mario brothers," He said to himself as though practicing, in his most menacing voice, "You're luck runs out" King Boo released what he was shaking in his nubs, a pair of dice flew out and rolled off into the dark of the room. Somewhere they landed snake-eyed up. The ghostly king crawled with delight.

((Right. Not sure how to start off, so forgive any mistake, 'k?))
Birri padded down the pathway with a spring in her step, sticking precisely to the middle. She wasn't invited of course but upon seeing such a huge mansion she knew she had to spend the night there. Anything would be better than sleeping outside, particualarly in a place like this. Along the way she did notice Evalyn's thorn troubles, however she didn't pay it a second thought and continued along her merry way.

"Hey, hey are you ignoring me on purpose!?" She squeaked as what looked to be her only chance of outside help passing by her. Growling in the back of her throat, she grumbled a few "sweet nothings" at the girl. She really didn't want to resort to it, but seeing as how she wasn't going to do anything she saw no other choice than to burn the twig down. Seeing as how her hands weren't tied upside down and sideways, she went ahead and took her vest off throwing it over so her shell wouldn't rip through it. Her shirt was already torn in two, so she obviously needed it to cover up. Swinging herself up onto the branch, where her head stayed snagged she managed to get a good reach at the end, and began to singe it off in her now koopa state. Burning it off so suddenly she almost dove face first into the bush again, but the relief of having let everything out, her wings saved her the trouble of another sore to be dealing with. The branch was still matted into her hair, but she supposed she'd have to ignore it for now- as she didn't plan on staying long anyways.
((I don't really think I ever went n' explained this- but she purty much transforms like how Stitch does, what with his extra set of arms, antennas, and spikes, it's not some "omg magic tastical" quick transform sequence. If that made sense. KD No real reason why I felt like saying it now- twas just something that crossed my mind as I typed~))

Birri turned around "Hm? What did you say, I misheard you." She answered in a pleasant tone. As far as she saw it, she thought Eva was having fun, or trying to seek attention. She didn't notice her blueish tongue lolling out of her mouth. It might have been a good thing that she never even noticed the grumbling.

"Talking to yourself, my Lord?" A smarmy voice floated from Boo's chambers as his yellowing advisor phased through the wall, his voice was vaguely Middle European, but for fear of messing up I'm just gunna leave that to imaginaaaation "That's a sign of old age, you know." And weakness, he thought arrogantly, the King's back turned to him.
"Ah! There you are Booky," The King replied, ignoring the jab, "How's it looking top side?"
"One guest has arrived. a small Todd from-"
"Already! What are you doing down there then? Ready the troops! Wait, not yet, we should do this subtle, have someone loosen the chandelier, make some floor boards creak..." King Boo ordered, all in one breath, "Well, what are you waiting for? An invitation? (The King crackled at his lame pun)"
"Yes, your Spookiness" Baron Von Boo .K said, clenching his mouth distastefully as he floated back through the walls to release the order.

Toadette continued her browsing around the main lobby, sitting at the stairs a few times and taking a look in that mirror at the front. She didn't want to flat out invade someone's house. She wouldn't like it if someone invaded HER house. It wasn't long before she started to get impatient; she bit her nails a few times and look around warily. She even made an origami boat out of the invitation. (It was a really bad one, but Toad only gave her a runthrough of it) She pretended to sail it on the high seas for a moment when she looked up at the chandelier and watched it shake a bit. She gasped slightly; if that thing fell, it would break and... they would think it was HER fault! (This reasoning was absolutely ridiculous, but Toadette was not bright) She just stared at it and got up--CREEEAK, she flinched--to step away from it if it really were to shatter into two million pieces. Then again... it didn't look quite like glass...

A small sigh. A figure moving silently around the forest. Dark red eyes flashing in the dark forest, finally setling on the figure of a redhead 'girl' and a bright colored 'birdo'.
"Um~?" the small eerie hummed lightly, curious as to what were those two living beings doing in such a dark place. Abandoning her exploration of the place for the moment, Rue turned invisible and approached them quietly.

Sighing, Evalyn couldn't deal with the annoyance any longer and went back to try and free her hair from this cursed branch. It was like a leech for pete's sake it just wouldn't come off! Puckering her lips she made one last GOOD tug, and with a high pitched screech she pulled it out, a chunk of her own hair matted around it. She started to mourn the loss as she poked the little bald spot on her head before tossing it aside, m' sure it'd make a good nest for someone out here. She picked up her vest in her now claw like fingers, draping it over her arm, picking the invitation back up in the other hand.

Mario tromped through the dark spooky woods as he stared the invitation down. He didn't know who the host was, but a party? He didn't get to go to many since he was always busy saving the Kingdom. He looked behind him for a moment to assure that Luigi was still following him. Luigi had told him many times while they were walking he was going home because everything was so spooky and suspicious, but Mario assured him it wasn't that bad.
Coming closer to the mansion he couldn't help but look at the bush next to him. It had a clump of orange-red hair in it. Looking around the bush's base he spotted a figure. Mario walked around the bush to see who or what it was. "Uhm... excuse a me, is that a your hair in a this bush?" Mario asked cocking his head slightly. He felt odd asking that to a random person behind a bush, but hey he was Mario, was anyone gonna think he was weird? ((I think it's good now KD ))

((The only thing would prolly be that Evalyn hasn't started moving yet- she's still standing next to the bush. xDD, then again she could've thrown the branch far aside so tis alright))
Luigi was being stubborn. He already KNEW just by the handwriting on the invitation alone that this wasn't a good idea. Somewhere in the back of his mind he knew the same hand that wrote this was at work when he had supposedly won a "free" mansion. He wasn't going to have any part of this. Nope! "If a Mario wants to go get himself stuck in a ditch- that's a fine with me!" He implored to himself, starting to find his way back from where they came from.
((Don't worry- I'll make Luigi come back out of guilt, right now though after his last nightmare at a mansion, I don't think he'd be very willing to go along with Mario's assurance. xDDD))

Rue stayed still for a moment longer, staring the two female being before turning to the mansion, sensing something inside it. She cocked her head to the side trying to identify the feeling when it dawned on her what it was, her eyes widened the smallest bit before muttering quietly "Is it...?"
She floated inside mansion, passing next to Mario and through the door, searching for the owner of the powerful yet so well hidden energy "Is there a Boo here~?" she asked after entering a large room just pass the entrance, her half-closed eyes scanning the room calmly.
((Not the same room as Toadette, I think. And I figure she could sense King Boo's energy since she had worked for him for a while, and they are both ghosts -w- If there is somethig wrong, tell me please, wan XD))

(No, no, you're good, Iwaaaaa :B)
From the ceiling of the room floated down a disgruntle Baron, his mustache all ruffed up. After King Boo had dismiss him, he floated up to the antic to make sure everything was...ready. He was semi-visible. He knew what ever floated into the room wasn't human, but it wasn't a Boo either.
"Jaaha, there could be," He called out, floating back up through the ceiling once more and then down again, like a bobber on the water.

She stared at the yellowish Boo and nodded, lowering lightly as if to bow, raising her head again she started "Pleasure to see you, sire... My name is Rue, I was wondering if Lord King Boo was in this house and if he was planning something since some people seem to be arriving to this place..." she stopped for a moment staring into space before blinking and smiling calmly "Oh, how rude from me, sorry. May I know your name, sire~?" she asked politely with her lightly slurring tone.
