Vibestar drifted along a stony beach, skimming stones across the water, it was a perfectly calm day so the water was like glass, undisturbed apart from the occasional stone and the fine rain that fell steadily from the sky. She picked up another stone and ran one of her stubby appendages over it, so smooth, this one was bound to be a good skimmer. Yet it seemed a shame to throw it away. She sighed, then flicked it out at the water, it skimmed four times then vanished beneath the surface. Waste of a good stone she thought, annoyed.

It was raining, eh? Sazu looked up at the sky, some of the raindrops hitting her face gently. She looked forward now, and walked on the rocky beach. She backed up a bit, and leaned forward and did a handstand on the rocks. Wait, what's that sound? She almost fell over, for she was distracted by a light tapping on the water. After landing a bit wobbly on the ground from her handstand, she squinted into the distance to see a small star-shaped figure skipping rocks. "Helloooo?" she called out, her hands cupping her mouth to add volume. "Who's theeere?"

Vibestar twirled around to face the newcomer, looked her up and down then beamed broadly. "Oh hello! Didn't see ya there! I nearly had a heart attack...Who might you be? And what brings you to this small corner of the world?" It wasn't often people came here which suited her because she wasn't really meant to be down here, still everyone needed a short holiday every once in a while.

The brunette suddenly flinched back a bit. A star... was talking. Whoa. Then again, she remembered, it was bound to be normal here. "Heheh..." she chuckled uncomfortably, "hi. Name's Sazu. I, uh... went for some exploring, as per usual." She lifted her face to look up at the sky, then back at Vibestar. "What's your name?" A friendly grin appeared on her face.

"Sazu, Sazu...." She rolled the name around in her mouth. "Nice name, it suits you if you don't mind me saying...Me? My name's, Vibestar, the most rhythmic star you'll ever meet!" She winked and swayed slightly in the air, as if dancing to some unheard tune."I quite like exploring myself, don't get to do much of it though, not much time to spare..." She sniffed disdainfully, wishing she could come down to the kingdom more often. Wishing, ha!

She blinked. "You like music?" It was the first thing she assumed, as she began dancing on the spot. "Hehe, nice, Vibestar. Thanks." She quite liked the name. "Wait, what? Not enough time to spaaare? Why?" She stretched the word "spare," almost a whine in her voice. Her eyes shined with curiosity, awaiting an answer to both of her questions.

Vibestars eyes lit up. "Like music? I very much live for it! See these headphones?" She raised her eyes to the large headphones on her head. "They're very special headphones, help me listen to the tunes that are otherwise silent to the rest of the world, they pick up the music which radiates from emotions! So seeing as there are so many emotions bouncing around on this planet these headphones are like a giant aerial directing all those emotion tunes! It's very handy for somebody like me~" She dropped her excited demeanour and sighed a little. "Being a star sprite I'm expected to be responsible and that means being in star haven and being taught about the responsibilities I have, it's very restricting, sometimes I just come down here to relax a little.."

She beamed excitedly. "That is soooo cool!" She... wanted those headphones. A lot. Sazu didn't exactly need them, but apparently, they were so cool that she really, really wanted to know what the music sounded like. Something along those lines. She hoped it wasn't too calm, though. "So like, if I were happy, it'd be happy music?" she put a hand to her chin in fake thought, "Hrrm~" she looked back at the small star. "A star sprite, huh? Ah, responsibilities, my enemy!" She expressively waned to the ground, then got back up quickly. "Um..." she made those curious eyes again. "What kiiinda responsibilities?"

She nodded "They're very precious to me, so I always wear them." She nodded again this time more enthusiastically. "Yup, they do just that, believe me, you don't wanna be around somebody who's miserable, it just gets depressing!" She thought carefully before answering. "Well, star sprites grant wishes that are selfless and deemed acceptable, it's wrong for us to grant greedy wishes, or vengeful ones and such. So it's my responsibility to grant wishes to those who make the ones that count! At the moment I'm not such a powerful star sprite, but I'm hoping to be really powerful when I finish learning!"

[sunny]

"Grant... wishes?" Sazu was immediately speechless for a long moment. Although she couldn't think of a responsible and unselfish wish, there were endless possibilities! She didn't want to say anything about wishing something herself though, and it looked a bit obvious since Vibestar took the form of... well, a star. "Whoa. That's amazing. You DO have responsibilities. I wish I could help though." She thought about what she just said--which was actually a blurt--and realized she might punk out. Grant wishes? That actually sounded important...

[noodles]

"Yeah, you'd think it'd be just freelance like a fairy or something, but no, it's all rules and restrictions everywhere. Some star sprites choose to do whatever they want to do with their powers, but it doesn't end well, you start to manifest yourself in that kind of energy. It makes you twisted and turns you round the bend a bit if you ask me!" She looked down a Sazu for a moment and smiled. "It would be a BIG help if you could kinda come with me on this little excursion, I usually don't go any further than this beach but today could be a exception I guess..." She raised a brow questioningly.

[sunny]

"That sucks. A lot." She frowned a bit, and she looked down at the ground, a hand up to her chin in REAL thought, this time. "Twisted, huh? I wouldn't wanna do that, now... ooh, ooh!" Sazu jumped up and down a bit, chuckling at the "if you could kinda come with me on this little excursion" part. "That would be some awesome fun there! Where are we gonna go? What're we gonna do? Ooh, this is going to be so much fuuun~!"

Vibestar nodded solemnly at both of these statements then beamed widely. "Oooh you don't know how happy that makes me~!" To do? She frowned and thought about this, she didn't get around this kingdom much so she wasn't really sure, it'd be nice just to explore the kingdom a bit more thoroughly..."Well..I'm not entirely sure...But could we maybe go into Toad town?" She widened her eyes hopefully.

She may have explored quite a bit for the five years being here, but on her recent exploration, she hadn't seen much of Toad Town. "That's perfect~ I haven't seen much of it myself! Let's... go go go!" She pointed into a random direction and cartwheeled a few feet away in said direction, going "wheeee!" as she did so.

Vibestar twirled in the air and followed Sazu, her heart racing a little, she'd never seen much of the kingdom before, she wondered what it was like...She shook herself to dry from the rain. "So, you know where it is right? Because to be honest, I have no idea where it is.." She rubbed the back of her head in embarrassment.
