It was a sunny afternoon as Grodus finished his work for the day, putting the cleaning tools away in their proper place. He made his way to a nearby, out of the way bench and sat down, a tired expression on his face. This was all incredibly annoying.

In the distance, a pair of glowing eyes peered at the town from behind a large tree. "It's too..."
"Quiet here?"
"And..."
"PEACEFUL?" Both males snickered, sliding back behind the old tree again.
"Do you think we should cause some trouble?"
"I think we should.~" Mako and Lukas grinned evilly at one another and proceeded to sink into the ground as shadows, moving underneath people until they came to the back of a wooden bench.
"Enjoying your..."
"Afternoon?"
Suddenly the leapt out of the ground, each shoving Grodus on either side. They began to giggle, thinking they'd annoyed another resident.

Oh, they annoyed him alright.
Grodus whipped around to face the two troublemakers, fully prepared to beat the crud out of them. He was NOT in the mood for pranks.
"I was until you little brats showed up!", he yelled.

They looked at one another and then back to his angry face again, giggling in unison. "We know." Mako replied, puffing out his small chest rather proudly.
"That's why we're here, gramps." Lukas grinned at him nastily.

Grodus's eye twitched at the "gramps" part.
He would not be treated with this kind of disrespect! Especially from these two!
He was about to lunge at them, intent on teaching them a lesson, when he spotted two police officers walking towards his general direction.
He paused and then forced himself to relax, not wanting to have to deal with another hour of "community service" as punishment.
That didn't stop him from giving a nasty looking glare at Mako and Lucas, though.

They chorused into a fit of giggles as he started for them. "Aww, whatsah' matter gramps? Don't wanna break a hip or nothin'?" Mako hissed through his wide smile. Lukas craned over his shoulder to glimpse at the police walking up. "Ohhh....you don't wanna get in trouble?"
Mako leaned over as well to glare at them. "Ew, the cops. Bet ya'd love to wring our necks right now, huhn pops?" He stuck his tongue out disrespectfully. "You better not unless ya want JAILTIME for strangling a pair of innocent boys.~" They both posed, batting their eyes at him before giggling evilly again.

...So. Much. RAGE.
Grodus once again restrained the urge to strangle their little necks. But oh, how easy it would be if those idiotic cops weren't here!
One of the cops came up to him, asking "Is everything okay here?", his eyes locked on Grodus.
'Of course they'd blame ME.', Grodus thought in disgust. The fools...

"Everything's HUNKY-DORIE here Off-ucer!" Mako replied in a chipper tone, feigning a sweet smile. "We were jus' talkin' to this nice grampa-man" Lukas grinned eagerly as well.

'...Cute.', Grodus thought sarcastically. These two were quiet the tricksters. He smirked at this. 'Hmmm...maybe they'll be useful to me after all...', he thought.
"That's very nice of you two boys! But try not to talk to strangers from now on. You never know what or who they might be.", the policeman said, grabbing Grodus's arm and leading him away. "Okay Grodus, you can go home now. Remember to be here same time tomorrow.", he said to Grodus.
Grodus replied "Yes, officer.", still smirking as he added two more components to his plan.

As soon as the policeman's back was turned the boys began making faces at Grodus obnoxiously, sticking their tongues out and pulling at their cheeks. "See ya tomorrow, GRAMPS!" Mako called, waving a gloved hand at him. Both twins proceeded to sink down into the ground to stir up a little more trouble within the town before leaving themselves for the day.
