Poltergust 4000
More of a vehicle, it’s larger than the Super Poltergust but it doesn’t have hover capabilities.
Coin Vacuum
Able to suck up coins and miscellaneous items of value from a person-it can detect treasures.

Title is self explanatory. The machine itself is powered by the Cobalt Star.
Super Apparel
Gadd designed a pink hat strikingly similar to Mario’s as well as a set of white gloves. The hat is capable of protecting the user from fire and ice blazes as well as being able to achieve the power of flight. The gloves are able to allow the user to lift any heavy object ten times the size of themselves. They both sport sort of an A.I., the clothes bond with the user to detect any mortal danger the wearer is in. They activate when the ‘Spirit’ of someone becomes high—the user’s nature to protect themselves or someone important to them.
Boot Bazooka
A launching device that resembles a small grenade cannon, only instead of explosives, it shoots boots.
Strengths: He posseses high intelligence and a real knack for inventing various creations as mentioned above. He's also a pro at catching ghosts.
Weaknesses: Gadd's getting up there in age, and as such isn't able to go out spelunking as much as he'd like, so he often lends his inventions to more able-bodied individuals, as nothing pleases him more then seeing his inventions in action! He's also incredibly forgetful and often misplaces a lot of things.
Personality: Often forgetful but always with a smile, Professor E. Gadd does what he loves most in a place he likes best. Invents weird whimsical machines, choosing to dwell in a small house/laboratory/art museum in ghost dormant woods. Constantly finding new reasons to invent things, he’s quite scattered at most times. He’s also very intelligent and kind-hearted, although distressed by the lack of effort on the young people’s parts these days.
History:
Professor E. Gadd met the Mario Brothers in the past when he was in his twenties. Researching Thwomps at Thwomp Volcano, his lab is almost destroyed by the eruption. He mentioned to them an interest in studying ghosts and how he intends on moving to Boo Woods to set up a new laboratory. He also invests in a small coffeehouse in BeanBean Kingdom.
Studying ghosts in the woods soon led him to meeting Luigi again years later, although he didn't initially recognize him. Luigi mentioned he'd won a mansion in a contest he'd never entered and Gadd explained that the house had just appeared there- a mirage created by the ghosts to lure him and his brother. Not sending him in empty handed, he supplied him with the use of his Poltergust, as well as changing his brother's portrait back into his actual brother.
He then debuts his newest invention, his Time Machine, to the Mushroom Kingdom, when Princess Peach inadvertanly gets stuck in the past, thus sending the brothers to go after her.
Since then, he's moved to a smaller house a few miles away from Dimble Wood. He enjoys the quiet, opting to work on new inventions in the peace of his solitude.
