Weapons:Mario has no permanent weapons,but power-ups give him a weapon-ish advantage. Also,his fists,can,not always,be used for weapons,if the need arises. Sometimes,even his feet,more his boots,as he kicks Koopa shells around sometimes.
Strengths:Mario,though portly is very agile. He can execute long,and powerful jumps. Also,when a power-up is near,if he touches it,he'll become more powerful. He can breathe underwater,and handle fire,which most people *cough* can't. He can get near lava,and not die,and can defeat enemies,very easily with the aid of all these.
Weaknesses: f Mario is touched by an enemy,while wearing a power-up,he loses it. He can get hurt,if he is touched again,without one. Lava,is also a big thing. He can't swim in it *duh*,so landing in it,can cause HURTNESS. Also,magic is a downing thing for him. If its used against him,he can't tackle it very easily.
Personality: Mario,is usually,very kind,and always willing to help. Being more violent than Luigi,and willing to get into dangerous situations than Luigi. He can be aggressive,when it comes to his enemies,but is very nice around his friends. He is bilingual,speaking both English and Italian. Despite this,Mario doesn't talk much. Usually,he's too busy in whatever quest he is in at the time. When he does talk,he speaks in short sentences,with small words. He usually would probably rather be on a quest than talk!
History: Mario has two histories. One is mainly told by the SMB3 cartoon,one by the Yoshi's island games. I'll tell both.
SMB3's tale *and part of a fanmade one*:
Mario,and his brother Luigi were born,and raised in Brooklyn. As they grew older,they worked as plumbers in the area. One day,they went to fix a pipe,and they both fell down a warp pipe to the Mushroom Kingdom. They had no idea where they were,or how to get back home. They were told by Toads,that they were to save the Princess from Bowser. The brothers set off,to the castle,which would be their first adventure. They went through all the worlds,and finally,Mario beat Bowser and saved Peach. That's how they got started,and how they are ending up today.
Yoshi's Island tale:
Mario and Luigi were born in the Mushroom Kingdom. Luigi was taken by Baby Bowser's army,and Yoshi took baby Mario to help him get Luigi and stop Bowser and Kamek. Yoshi took baby Mario through all of the worlds,and he beat baby Bowser,and got Luigi back. They then helped Yoshi for a few more adventures,until the two grew up,and began to go out on adventures themselves. Saving Peach,from present day Bowser,and you get it.
