I wondered...

Would baby versions of characters be treated as seperate characters that people fill out profiles for- or would the owner of the adult character have to act out their baby counterpart too?

I guess I ask because what if a seperate RPer of the baby counterpart does something that's not in the adult's history? XD

I think it'd be better if the person who's RPing the original character also did the baby version, just so it doesn't go out of context of the actual character. Otherwise whoever's controlling the original character would have to keep monitoring and updating the history of the character depending on what the person controlling the baby version was doing, and that would end up being quite a mess. xB

Yaaay, necospeaking! About the first topic of the Q and A, other forums I rolled on before they blew up worked like that. Every character had separate accounts. If they were abandoned, the old accounts would be passed on, terminated, or whatever. It never was a problem in any of those forums.

Hmm, this is the closest thing to the right thread so, more suggestions;

I was thinking, since we have a lot of villains, some major, lots minor, that we could have a thread for "Recruitment" ads. Sort of like a major villain (such as Bowser, Fawful or Grodus) who wants some extra outside minions describe what they want such as skills, qualities, what they work with [like magic or technology or something]. If that makes sense.

Or it could be the oher way around in which lesser villains put themselves up for hire, again, listing skills, preferences, pros and cons. If that makes sense too...

Sounds pretty good, and that way we can make teams easier when the, inevitable event of villains discuss/try to kill each other, we would know who to side with, wan -w-

Yea, I was gonna eventually post something asking people what they wanted to do for the main RP. I wonder if somebody ought to just START and we can see what enfolds?

I dunno- perhaps you or Toasty could start one up and we all just jump in at the spur of the moment like this party~ And you n' her (since you ARE Bowser n' Mario) could vaguely direct where the plot is basically gonna go for the gist of the thing :V

Either that or have an exposition at the first post and everyone else just runs with it~ |||D

Hmm, well I think some if the more serious ones should be planned out a little bit. I'm not sure how though. Maybe each plot layed out with "Signups" for the main players or something. The idea I got's kinda complicated and stuff so I'll just go into more detail if what I've already got seems interesting enough.

Maybe there could be several plots in the same thread going on. We could have like....a villain's sign-up like one of you's said, which character is allied with which villain and plan and then start seperate threads detailing their naughtyness throughout the kingdom. It'd be a lot to read probably but it's the only thing I can think of in terms of having some type of organization for something as huge as a main plot.

Yeah, although I do think the heros should have a similar signup too. I was thinking that certain segments of the main plot be broken up into forums and have different threads for locaions and the like. It's not gonna be easy to work out but hopefully the end result will be effective.

Well, I remember on a previous RP board I'd seen (and mentioned near the start of this thread) the forums were customised so only the relevant characters could view the threads. Although that was one which had character accounts so it probably wouldn't work here...
