Mario music!

Isn't Mario music,like legendary? I spent one afternoon,just listening to old Mario music. Nobody can forget the Super Mario Bros. overworld theme! It's like Nintendo's theme song! I like SMB3's underwater music,too. In fact,I love ALL Mario music!
What's your favorite tune? Any game! Er..any MARIO game.. xD

It's hard to pick a favorite considering that nearly 9/10th's of my MP3 player are filled with Mario songs :B

I guess if I could only pick one, my all time favorite wound be the Yoshi's Island Fortress theme, I just love it's eerie tune, it reminds me of some sort of ghostly ballroom dancing of sorts~. (In fact me n' Phara had a moment of that very sort circling around that music within our RP xB)

My other top one's though would be Gusty Garden from Galaxy, Underground Mozart from DDR Mario Mix, Any song from Super Mario World (cause if you pay close attention, all the songs use the EXACT same notes, just with variation on the timing and the instruments ) and whatever the song is from SMB3 that has a remix titled Jump, Jump, Jump on DDR Mario Mix, cause I do not know if it even has a proper title to be referred to as :U Unless it's called "Jumping Music2" :L

Well the sheer size of the francise makes it too hard to pick just one.

However, some favourites of mine are the SMB3 Boss remix in NSMBW, Freezeflame galaxy (ice), SMW castle (the GBA version that is), The world 5&6 world map themes in NSMBW, Airship in pretty much all it's incarnations and lastly, Space junk galaxy.

There's more though, mostly from the RPGs.

This is a very, very hard question to answer. I really like most of the Credits themes. Especially from the M&L RPGs. From Partners in Time and Bowser's Inside Story.

I also like Good Egg Galaxy from Super Mario Galaxy, and Dire, Dire Docks from Super Mario 64.

Bowser's Road, Peach's Castle, the Overworld theme from 64...

And the Credits, as well as Bonechill's theme from Super Paper Mario.

..I'm done fangirling over music, lol. Like Eva said, most of my iPod is Mario music haha.

I love the orchestra for Galaxy.Battlerock and the credits are my FAVES. I also like Bowser's fight theme.

If you're looking for terrific Mario mixes there's Super Mario 64 Liquid Mario remix by McVaffe, and Super Mario Bros. Bowser is pissed by PriZm.

I also love the music in the first water world you can access, with the eel in the ship. Nostalgia~

I think credit music is normally pretty good. Am I the only one,who has played NSMBWii to the end,that thinks the LAST Bowser fight music is the BEST Bowser track ever?

OMG,me too. I love that so much. So peaceful. So pretty. I like map music alot. I REALLY like Forest Of Illusion map music from Super Mario World. It's like a cottage.

Agreed. I never liked that level,but I loved its music. Always takes me back,just to hear it. It is now on my Wii,and the nostalgia gets to me before I finish a level. ;_;

Paper Mario: General Guy's Theme, Crystal King's Theme, Credits Theme, Huff n' Puff's Theme, Bowser's Theme(both when he just appears and when you fight him) and the Koopa Bros. Theme.

Paper Mario 2: X-Naut Fortress, Grodus Theme, Lord Crump's Theme, Shadow Queen's 3rd form Theme, Credits Theme, Crystal Star's Theme, Sad Theme(the music that plays when Bobbery's reading the letter from Scarlet), all of the songs on the Excess Express and last but not least, Doopliss's Theme. XD

Super Paper Mario: The Intro, Next Chapter Theme, Dimentio's Theme(both normal and battle, Mimi's 2nd Battle Theme, The Champion Of Destruction(I think that's Bleck's theme), O'Chunk's Theme(both normal and battle), Promise, Soft Light, Memory, Proof of Existance and the Credits.

New Super Mario Bros.: The Koopaling Battle Theme(both of them).

That's pretty much all I can think of now.

Mmmm, new favorite. I never really payed attention to the background music in the Crystal Palace, but now that I've listened to it again, it's very pretty.

Maybe a bit eerie, but pretty.

Yeah, I liked the level, too. Like the song, it was kinda creepy, but it was pretty at the same time.
