Well I'm not uncomfortable or anything, it seems a lot of my online friends are female anyway.
Well I guess that's a good point. Nice to see everyone's quite friendly here.

Um... Hello all... I'm paradeoflunacy and I also go by Parade-Of-Lunacy on dA... I joined after Evaleva (Piranha2021) told me about this site when I commented about a drawing she'd done that was based on the Castle Koopa RP here...
I'm not much of a RPer myself, in fact I've NEVER RPed before in my life... Most of my characters are Mary-Sue quality (I usually just make myself a character, just kinda over embellish my flaws and such...) but I'm sure I'll learn over the course of my stay here...
Um, favorite Mario games: Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World, Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, New Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Galaxy and New Super Mario Bros. Wii.
(Galaxy and Mario Bros. Wii I've never actually played directly, but I've watched them be played on Walkthroughs and Let's Plays and LOVED em! Mostly Mario Bros. Wii for the Koopalings!)
Any who, I'm kinda boring and am often very sleepy... (Insomniac)
So, I guess that's it... I look forward to getting to know everyone!

Also, I think EVERYONE's OC starts out Mary-Sueish, but once you start RPing more and more with it, it'll gain new characteristics. So no worries.~

Nice to meet you Paradeoflunacy! Don't concern yourself too much, I happen to be an RP n00b too, no-one's going to bite your head off for mistakes. When you mention your characters being sue-ish, while I think it's just being hard on yourself (I can totally relate) but if you feel it's a really bad problem, send me a PM with what you got so far. I don't consider myself to be good at much but I've got a decent sense of what makes a good character, I can help you.  |
