Flynn had gotten too distracted to even think about his hunger... until Mimi reminded him. He swiped his taco from the bag and nommed it down in just a few quick bites. "Mmm, crap or not, that was really tasty!" he chirped. He didn't quite share the same opinion on tacos as Mimi, but it sure beat digging up worms...

"Someone's had to have seen her- I say! That pink blob is hard to miss. But Steve digresses....it's hot." He began fanning his 'face' with one of his nubs. "OHO! While we're out and about, tall, gangly koopa, what say you to looking for a food establishment?~" A.J. scowled, narrowing his eyes. "Mims goes awol and you're thinking of food...?" Actually--that caused a wheel start to turn in his head. What was Mimi's favorite thing like, EVER to do, besides stalking Mario of course. Eat tacos. "C'mon, I think if anything we should keep looking-" A.J. grabbed the protesting shyguy up and weaved around towards the food district, silently hoping Mimi WAS there and hadn't been kidnapped or something.
"See?~ Told ya! And we still have a bunch of coins we gotta spend. Where do you wanna go?" She propped her chin on her hand and faced him.

Flynn barely even came to this town except to entertain himself at everyone else's expense, much less knew about any attractions. He stalled for time for thirty seconds... still no idea. "I dunno, what do you want?"

"Yeah, I don't think people like me much here. For a perfectly good reason." Flynn quipped with a smile. "Yeah, let's go!" He rarely visited Toad town, but that's the only reason he hasn't been banned from there yet.

Mimi waved a hand, getting to her feet and offering a hand to him. "Well I don't see why they wouldn't like you. I like you. c: " She told him with honesty. Sure he'd been a meany before, but who hadn't? And he'd certainly made up for it by now.

"Well, there was putting that store out of business, remember?" He giggled at the memory, even if it was just a few minutes ago. Taking Mimi's hand, he was unnaturally easy to help up.

"....That's SOOOO not a reason to dislike you. I thought it was hilarious.~" Mimi was glad to be hanging out with someone new for once- it seemed like she got the same feedback and deadpan answers from A.J. so being with Flynn was a pleasant change for today. "C'mon, we'll jus' walk until we get somewhere else."
Steve waddled through the restaurant which was devoid of customers. "I say! Your stand's running a little sparse." The manager glared in his direction forlornly. "Yea, great observation there." A.J. was surprised, and a bit let down that Mimi wasn't anywhere to be found. "Hey, seen a girl in a pink hat anywhere?" "SEEN HER? Yea, her and her little friend drove all my paying customers away- TELL THEM THANKS. D8< "

Mimi looked up, pausing to listen. "....Not really. o3o; " She replied, her ADHD already kicking in once more, as she caught sight of a large colorful pinwheel grasped in a young Toad boy's hands as he ran past them.
A.J. and Steve immediately ran for cover upon the taco manager decided it best to start throwing pans and cookware at their faces. Geez, what a day!

Flynn took notice of Mimi's ADHD "So, did you want that pinwheel?" He asked innocently.
As the young Toad boy ran past, a certain Birdo-ish creature attempted to sneak up on him, not very easy since she stood out so much, plus the boy was running too. She quickly diverted her attention when she saw the flying frying pans, and the two running away from them...
'A Koopa AND a Shyguy?' she thought, quickly giving up on the Toad boy. She noticed her tongue and rolled it back into her mouth before trying to approach the two in the open, stealth wasn't exactly going to work here...

Mimi grinned in a day-dreaming manner before snapping back to reality. "I wish I had one!~ Rainbows are so pretty." She always wanted another ever since Steve had 'accidentally' stolen hers and tried to perform surgery on someone with it. She never DID know what became of it after that...
"Steve feels like a marathon!guy doing all this running today! I say, stubby nubs were not made for dashing!" A.J. skidded to a stop- almost running into the approaching birdo. "Sorry-" He said hastily, a pan clanging near his leg. "Kinda in a hurry-"

Flynn quickly turned back "Okay! Just wait there a sec!" He called to her before chasing the Toad that just passed by.
"Oh, a hurry?" Birri queried innocently, "What for?" She hungrily eyed Steve... he seemed to be tired. Which for her was a good thing.

Mimi tilted her head curiously as Flynn ran off around the corner out of view, she had no idea he intended to steal the pinwheel from the young Toad boy, who currently was being pursued and crying all the while.
"Yea- HUGE pans flying towards our faces-" A.J. replied sarcastically. "I don't know about you but I'd like to NOT be hit with one." Steve panted, taking a can from his pockets. "Time for a drink me thinks."

A few seconds later Flynn returned with the pinwheel in hand, also looking a little beat up. "Here you go!" He announced, handing it to her.
Well clearly the Koopa was a jerk. It seemed small talk was a waste of time. With startling speed her tongue whipped out, snatched Steve and snapped back into her mouth along eith the Shyguy.
