"You really enjoy taking your time don't you sire~? -3-" Kamek cooed sarcastically to him before holding the blue outfit up to her. Inspecting it for himself, he rather fancied the color himself and gestured for her to go off and put it on. Lugging the lil pile she casually walked out into the hall towards one of the bathrooms. Sadly she was completely unaware of what had been going on with Wendy, and certainly the though never crossed her mind of what would happen should Wendy spot her at this point.

"Actually I was jus' thinking." A rare occurance indeed, but not so uncommon for the Koopa King to become easily distracted. "Maybe....I feel like I'm beatin' a dead horse here. You ever feel that way...?" He trailed off, glancing at the magikoopa. "Nevermind." His plan would go ahead, although for some reason, something was nagging at him. Ah well, must've been indigestion.

"Well-" Kamek began despite the "nevermind", casually swirling his teacup around. "Sometimes I feel like m' not much of a help being an adviser, mostly just doing the same sch'tick, but in the end it's kinda my fate to do it I suppose, so I might as well just make the best of it.~" He finished, hoping that would be of any help. Somehow in his mind, he felt that something was a little off- but he assumed it was just another one of those "old people things".

Fate huhn? Bowser mused, looking off. It seemed like his life had always been....HARD. But if those plumbers were finally gone--
Maybe he could finally focus on something else for once. He kept telling himself that. Maybe his luck would turn around. If not, he was gonna punch those sunuvagun Star Spirits up in Star Haven for being so damn biased.

Evalyn had promptly dressed herself in the awkward little suit. She wondered how Kamek expected her to use her shell without ripping the entire outfit in two. Casually though she began her trek back, but with the twitch of her ear she heard the faint but recognizable wailing of Junior's voice, and had no choice but to simply look over at what was going on. She leaned over the railing to spy Morton and Wendy mingling whilst an entire onslaught of Bowser's minions were gathered around them. Junior was nowhere to be seen and this quite obviously worried her, so creeping over to the stairs in her silly looking suit she made her way down to see. With that outfit on her though, aside from her nose it'd be near impossible to tell it was her stuffed in there!

"Thankyouthankyou!" Wendy squealed and gave Morton a big hug "I knew I could count on you!" Releasing him, she went back to adress the crowd.
"Ahem. For our next order of business, we're gonna make a very special cake for my dad!" She hopped off and beckoned to the chefs and some of the guards to follow her. Less than ten minutes later she came out with a cake almost as big as Bowser himself, requiring four minions to even carry it.
“Oh daddykins! I got a present for you!” She announced as she greeted Bowser with the overdecorated treat.

"What in the-" Evalyn murmured to herself as she tagged behind Wendy for a moment. Just what WAS she doing with that cake?? Nevermind, she had to shake the thought off and attend to more pressing issues. Even if it meant keeping both Bowser and Kamek waiting longer- she had to go see what in the world was causing Junior to wail like that.
She squeezed and squirmed her way through the crown, following the ear piercing noise of his wailing towards the dungeons. She attempted to make her trip down calmly and collectedly, but failed when she tripped over a nick in one of the steps, klunking all the way down onto her head falling on her back in front of a few guards.
Kamek glared with a raised brow over at Wendy. "You don't even know how to make a bowl of cereal without messing something up in it, how'd you manage to make that? T3T" He inquired to her in a both sarcastic yet serious tone.

One of the dark Koopatrol sentries immediatly picked Evalyn up and kindly dusted her off. "Are you okay Ma'am?" The other one asked.
"Oh that's easy!" Wendy boasted with a proud smirk "I just borrowed a few lackeys, it turns out we have a few talented chefs in the castle."

Evalyn rubbed the dust brought up from her fall away from her goggles. "Yes m' alright- sadly I'm used to that happening. OTL;;" She groaned before standing all the way up. She tried to act serious with them and puffed out her chest in a bit of an authoritative manner. "I was sent upon request to check on the prisoner's conditions, so I ask that you please step aside for a moment.....please." She told them, unable to help but add the "please" at the end. Having these large guards loom over her was a little more than intimidating. At least despite telling she was female, they couldn't really tell she was the royal housemaid, right?

"Ah, there's no need ma'am." The first guard answered.
"Indeed ma'am, we were only just told of his condition ourselves ma'am." The second chimed in.
"The others already mentioned ma'am. They said..." The guard tried to recall what he was just told when the other interjected "They told us the young Prince was having quite the tantrum ma'am. He's being detained until he calms down."

Evalyn silently muttered a 'Sweet Starbits...' under her breath. There had to be some way to persuade them to move! Recently there hasn't been much for prisoners- not in this cell room anyways. Most of the time when she passed by to clean she saw these two in the back watching tv or playing cards. They never much looked like they really cared to be standing up actually "guarding" anything, more like they just wanted the job for the overdose of leisure that tends to come with it.
Suddenly thinking all of this over, she came across another idea. "If you fine gentlemen are interested, I'd be more than obliged to take over the watch position for you with the duration of his imprisonment. By the looks of it you fellas could probably use a break.~" She said with a saluting hand, inspecting their somewhat dreary looking eyes.

The guards paused and then turned around and discussed the proposal. Most of it being too quiet except for when it got a little more heated.
"But-but what if he gets out? She doesn't look like a guard to me." "What's the worst that can happen Steve?" "The King could have us fired." "That's not so bad." "Out of a cannon, into the sun." "Oh." "Well what if we...."
The two turned back to facing Eva.
"Sorry ma'am, this one's too important, we can't risk an amatuer losing him." "However ma'am, you can stay, but where we can see you ma'am."

"Alright, if that's what you want.~" She said in a bit of a sarcastic manner leaning against the bars of a cell on the opposite wall. "But I gotta say, when his royal highness sent me off to check on a few things down here, he never told me there was any sort of order to imprison his son. I'd sure hate to be the one to blame in that situation, you know how much of a hot head he can be.~" She replied to them, playing about with one of the straps on her backpack. "If you like though I'd be willing to take the heat of the matter, like I said I'm used to this sort of stuff." She mused to them. If she knew these fellers as well as she thought she did from passing by them day in and day out, then it's almost impossible for these two to not want this opportunity.

"Well ma'am, now that you remind me, something is a little suspicious about this whole thing..." Steve mused.

"Exactly my point, and I'm sure very experienced employees such as yourselves wouldn't want to go and lose his highness's trust over such a thing right? Besides, do you honestly want to have to listen to that for the next few hours? Maybe even days??" She asked them, pointing to Junior. She didn't like to refer to him as if he were a "thing", but she really needed to play it off that she was in fact a guard. Besides if she gave away any sign that she was in fact the little red headed maid she really is, they might try to do something funny and throw her in a cell too. She doesn't even know why Junior's in there- and she's determined to get the chance to ask him.
