Evalyn attempted to compose herself, to tell him why she was acting how she was. She took a deep breath, but this only resulted in the worse- as she began bawling like a baby and ran up clinging to him, burying her scratched up face in his bandanna. It was somewhat out of fear that she was holding him, after that oh so wonderful encounter with her feathered friends, but really it was just out of utter jealousy for the rest of it. She really didn't want to see any other woman making him happy outside of herself, however, she couldn't bring herself to exactly tell him that. I mean sure- she KNEW for a fact Peach didn't really care for him, and that's what angered her the most, but still- he was happy, and she didn't want to do anything to upset him, no matter how happy she'd be to hang that woman's head up on her mantle. So, she didn't say anything, and just hoped he'd explain enough for her to where she wouldn't have to do the talking.

Oooh, Mimi was weak. Weaker than him. Flynn felt a rush of confidence. Placing his hands on his hips (do koopas have hips?) he gave a cruel smirk.

Mario clutched the small invite in his gloved hand. He walked up the flagstone path to the house of the party. He wasn't sure if he should have come,without Luigi,but his brother insisted he didn't go. Ah well,the green bro won't follow him today,he supposed. He knocked on the door softly,hearing voices inside.
Francis was getting an extra cloak for himself,when he heard the knock. 'Can someone get that?" he asked loudly.

"Because...!" Mimi was about to retort to him, hands on her hips, when suddenly she heard someone knock down below. A.J. however, also heard the knock from inside and shuffled towards the door, hands in pockets. "Yea, I'll get that..." He mumbled, before opening it, expecting another 'problem' from outside. Bored eyes widened however when he saw it was the infamous plumber HIMSELF.
"Hey, how's it going?" He said, wondering where in the heck Mimi was. She'd flip if she were here. Of COURSE, leave it to her to be playing in mustard somewhere instead of having the chance to meet her idol.
Mimi looked over the edge, wobbling slightly and stopped, eyes the size of saucers. There was no denying that red cap. "B-BECAUSE MARIO IS HE--" All at once she lost her balance and fell from the roof top, right towards Mario's head.
Junior patted her back, feeling awful about everything but noticed Mario approaching and frowned. "No way, HE'S here?!"

Mario flinched when A.J. came near him. For a moment,he thought he was there to harm him. Until,that was,he said something nice. 'A GOOD Koopa? Unheard of!' He thought. "Pretty,good! Is Peach here,though?" He asked casually. Mario fell to the ground with a thump,when Mimi came crashing down towards his head. "Ooof." He said,through a ruffled mess of plumber and Mimi.

Junior cracked an evil grin, giggling slightly when he saw Mario in a heap on the ground. A.J. looked up from the rooftop, then to the small girl currently situated on top of her hero.
"So nice of you to drop in, Mims." He replied, deadpanned. "Your prince charming's here." Stepping away from the door, he headed back inside. Mimi was currently too stunned to even realize who she was sitting on top of.

Mario sighed. "Can you get offa me? I've got lotsa thing to do! Well,not really,but I don't like you sitting on me!" He said,still quietly,under the small weight of Mimi. He saw Junior,THE Junior,and his face darkened. 'I thought I was gonna get to relax-a!' He thought.

"Ww-who's wha?....;____;" Evalyn peeked up, then suddenly jumped back with a shriek hiding behind Junior. She remembered the last time she ran into the Mustachioed Marvel all to well- 'I probably shouldn'tve used that curling iron on her hips. >3>;' She thought to herself quietly, recalling her last venture out to sick Peach. The man in red turned her inside out and sideways like a New York pretzel- the whole thought of that happening again made her shudder.

Mimi quickly scrambled off of him, shoving her pink hat out of her eyes to gaze at him. "Ma----ma.........Mari------" A.J. yelled from indoors, " His name's Mario." Mimi nodded, dumbfounded. "Mario." She repeated, unable to grasp that she was actually standing there, her hero, face to face---her heart was beating out of her chest.

Mario nodded in A.J's direction. "Thatsa me,Mario!" He said triumphantly. "And,you might you be-a? He asked Mimi,the ink hatted person in front of him. She looked nervous,and stunned at the same time.

(Whoa whoa whee whoa! I lost track!)
Peach, upon hearing Mario's voice, moved from where ever she was in the party house to the doorway, "Mario!" She rejoiced, "I'm so glad you could make it!"
She was worried he wouldn't make it! Not like she hadn't been to parties where she didn't know anyone, it was just more fun when you had someone close with you.

And, upon hearing Peach's voice, Evalyn promptly scowled behind Junior as she just glared at her. Angrily. It was obvious Peach had COMPLETELY shoved Junior out of her sights- and her mind. Silently Evalyn pulled Junior just a wee bit closer to her, not much, but enough to kind of show that she's holding him in a way that's meant to be protective- like she's claimed him, aside from just being her hiding place from the goomba stomping menace.

Mario,seeing that Mimi was in some odd trance,went to hug Peach. "Princess! I made it,yesa! Sorry,I'ma little late..." He said,happily. Behind him,he noticed a small redheaded girl,who looked VERY angry. And,Junior,who looked none the wiser.

"Oh!" Peach took the hug invitation, and hugged him back. The Princess blushed and smiled as she let go, "As long as you're here, it's alright. Besides, the party hasn't gone on that long."
The silly distracted princess didn't notice how angry she was making the redheaded girl, she did notice was everyone was outside, "Come in, there's alot less mustard on the inside."

Evalyn continued to both scowl and quiver, intimidated by Mario yet just itching to pull Peach's arm out of her socket. She refused to move anywhere from where she was though, continuing to hide behind Junior's shell. She didn't even notice how bright red her face was, all the crazy emotions. That- and smoke was starting to flare from her nostrils.
